McAfee-Owned Company had Access to Hillary Clinton’s Classified Emails Posted: 22 Mar 2015 10:00 PM PDT Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email account gave a private company—and potentially others—access to secret State Department information, according to a published report. Marc Perkel at Dvorak Uncensored wrote that Clinton used a commercial spam filtering service, MxLogic, now owned byMcAfee, to monitor emails coming into her account. To be able to filter out spam, MxLogic had to be able to read the emails. Thus, anyone with access to MxLogic’s system, which could include someone from outside the company, could read emails meant for Clinton. The sedan which itself bows at the New York auto show 2015, will let parents set speed alerts, receive vehicle reports and even limit audio volume. Chevrolet believes “parents could use it as a teaching tool with their kids—they can discuss and reinforce safe driving habits.” |

The walls of the wood-paneled room are lined with the portraits of Tilson’s Harvard forefathers. Above the podium where Tilson stands hangs an ornamental gold ship, swaying. In the corner of the room is a large screen, on which the logos of the day’s sponsors, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Walton Family Foundation, float like guardian angels. Two large stone fireplaces dominate the west end of the room. Their exaggerated mantelpieces are each decorated with two empty crests and a laurel—symbols of power drained of any purpose. |

EU and Greece Running Out of Time – As Bank Runs Intensify, Bail-Ins Likely Posted: 22 Mar 2015 10:00 PM PDT Greece’s place in the Eurozone is as precarious as ever as talks between Prime Minister Tsipras and European leaders in Brussels broke down – hours after reaching general agreement – and Greece warned Germany that it will be “impossible” for Greece to service debt payments due in the coming weeks if the EU fails to provide short-term financial assistance. It Didn't Work in Afghanistan, So Let's Do It in Mexico Posted: 22 Mar 2015 10:00 PM PDT One of the mysteries of our era is why there seems to be no learning curve in Washington. Over the last 13 years, American wars and conflicts have repeatedly helped create disaster zones, encouraging the fragmentation of whole countries and societies in the Greater Middle East and Northern Africa. In the process, such American wars, drone assassination campaigns, raids, and conflicts have acted as recruitment posters for and aided and abetted the growth of terror outfits. And here’s where the genuine strangeness begins to enter the picture: after all of this is absorbed and assessed in Washington, the response is regularly more of what hasn’t worked and a clamoring for yet more of it. |
