Smart Meters: Enforcement Of Mandatory Water Restrictions Is Only Just The Beginning
    Posted: 06 Apr 2015 10:00 PM PDT
Smart meters are now being used by authorities to crack down on “water wasters” in the state of California, but this is just the tip of the iceberg as far as what they can be used for. Ultimately, smart meters are designed to be part of an entire “smart grid” that will enable government bureaucrats “to control everything from your dishwasher to thermostat“. And in recent years, there has been a massive push to install smart meters in as many homes in the United States and Europe as possible. Back in December 2007, there were only 7 million smart meters installed in this country. Today there are more than 51 million. On the other side of the Atlantic, the European Parliament has set a goal of having smart meters in 80 percent of all homes by the year 2020. This is being promoted as the “green” thing to do, but could it be possible that there is more to these smart meters than meets the eye?
This Could Sink Banks in Greece, Portugal, Spain, and Italy
    Posted: 06 Apr 2015 10:00 PM PDT
Not that much has changed in Spain since the climax of the debt crisis during which its collapsing banks were bailed out. Some of them were recombined into a bank with a new name – Bankia – and sold to the public via an IPO that immediately sank into red ink and scandal. Spanish government debt sported yields that reflected the risks of owning it. At this time in 2012, six-month T-bills yielded over 3.2%.

Cops in this Small Town have 35,000 Open Arrest Warrants, That’s 26 Warrants per Citizen!

If you want to know what a corrupt police state of revenue collecting, citation addicted bureaucrats look like, look in Missouri. A recent report showed that there were 23,457 arrest warrants pending in Pine Lawn Municipal Court in St. Louis County. That’s about 7.3 per resident. However, Pine Lawn is far from the worst. The town of Country Club Hills has over 35,000 outstanding arrest warrants, or a mind blowing 26.9 per resident.
Indian police to use pepper-spraying drones on unruly protesters

Police in a northern Indian city said Tuesday they have a new weapon for controlling unruly protesters in the world’s largest democracy: pepper-spraying drones. Yashasvi Yadav, police chief of Lucknow, said his officers have successfully test-flown the newly purchased drones with a view to better crowd control.
U.S. secretly tracked billions of calls for decades
    Posted: 06 Apr 2015 10:00 PM PDT
The U.S. government started keeping secret records of Americans' international telephone calls nearly a decade before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, harvesting billions of calls in a program that provided a blueprint for the far broader National Security Agency surveillance that followed. For more than two decades, the Justice Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration amassed logs of virtually all telephone calls from the USA to as many as 116 countries linked to drug trafficking, current and former officials involved with the operation said. The targeted countries changed over time but included Canada, Mexico and most of Central and South America.

THE REAL CYBER BULLIES: HOW BIG BUSINESS IS HELPING EXPAND NSA SURVEILLANCE
    Posted: 06 Apr 2015 10:00 PM PDT
Since November 11, 2011, with the introduction of the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act, American spy agencies have been pushing laws to encourage corporations to share more customer information. They repeatedly failed, thanks in part to NSA contractor Edward Snowden’s revelations of mass government surveillance. Then came Republican victories in last year’s midterm Congressional elections and a major push by corporate interests in favor of the legislation.

NBC'S LAW & ORDER: VACCINE AGENDA MOUTHPIECE
    Posted: 06 Apr 2015 10:00 PM PDT
To honor April as National Autism Awareness Month, NBC’s Law and Order has decided to run a new episode titled Granting Immunity.’ This episode revolves around a measles outbreak in an elementary school due to parents that didn’t vaccinate their children. No stranger to taking the wrong side of controversy, it appears NBC is looking to follow in the footsteps of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel to attack parents who still want medical choice. This is termed ‘behavior placement’ in which subtle messages are woven into shows. It should be noted that watching television instantly switches a viewer’s brainwaves into the alpha state (relaxation, suggestibility etc.). Next to criminality and fraud from the mainstream medical community, it appears ridicule and brainwashing are the only ‘real science’ vaccines still command.
FIXED FORTUNES: BIGGEST CORPORATE POLITICAL INTERESTS SPENT BILLIONS, AND GOT TRILLIONS IN RETURN

Between 2007 and 2012, 200 of America’s most politically active corporations spent a combined $5.8 billion on federal lobbying and campaign contributions. A year-long analysis by the Sunlight Foundation suggests, however, that what they gave pales compared to what those same corporations got: $4.4 trillion in federal business and support.
BILLIONS OF CALIFORNIA FRACKING ‘WATER WASTING’ IGNORED
    Posted: 06 Apr 2015 10:00 PM PDT
As California lawmakers decide if resident ‘water wasters’ should face jail time, based on a ‘snitch’ system,’ water agencies are busy working on higher rates and fees to penalize individual residents. As the main facilitator in the pollution of California's two biggest fresh water aquifers, the real question is “who will report California Governor Jerry Brown?”

    How America Became an Oligarchy
    Posted: 06 Apr 2015 10:00 PM PDT
According to a new study from Princeton University, American democracy no longer exists. Using data from over 1,800 policy initiatives from 1981 to 2002, researchers Martin Gilens and Benjamin Page concluded that rich, well-connected individuals on the political scene now steer the direction of the country, regardless of – or even against – the will of the majority of voters. America’s political system has transformed from a democracy into an oligarchy, where power is wielded by wealthy elites.

Turkish general claims CIA ‘may have had role’ in 2003 coup plot
    Posted: 06 Apr 2015 10:00 PM PDT
A Turkish former four-star general, who was jailed for his role in an alleged coup plot by secularists in the Turkish military, has alleged in an interview that the United States may have advised the coup plotters. Bilgin Balanli was the only active-duty four-star general to be charged in connection with the so-called Balyoz Harekâti (Operation SLEDGEHAMMER) coup-plot case. The alleged plot became widely known in early 2010, when Taraf, a liberal Turkish daily, published documents from 2003 that outlined the plotters’ plans for a military takeover of government. According to Taraf, the conspirators were secularists within the ranks of Turkey’s military and intelligence agencies, who were opposed to the rule of the Islamist Justice and Development Party (AKP), headed by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
